    Hi,
When is the next club kit order? on the Kit page on the site it says there was a plan for one in December, did I miss that? I’ve not noticed anything on the site.

I’m keen to order a skinsuit for the coming season.

    Thanks

  • Hi Trevor,
Sounds like your sorted now but I thought I’d share the easiest way I’ve found of using my 520.

The Garmin Connect Website works well for creating routes and if you also have the Garmin Connect App on your phone you can see any routes you create on there too. Then, using Bluetooth or WiFi connect your Garmin to your phone and the…[Read more]

  • Thanks guys useful to know. Once you get used to cycling to work and the thought of using the train becomes a terrible one, so any consideration for changing jobs now has to include working out what the commute is like and whether they have showers and secure bike storage!

  • Hi all,
Does anyone have any recommended routes for commuting to Oxford Circus please. I’m coming from Orpington so there’s lots of options for the whole route but primarily interested about the last 20 minutes or so and which bridge most people use to cross the river.

    Thanks in advance

  • Yep, it is. I’m planning on riding tomorrow. I’ve not been out for a few weeks though so not sure on distance, might have to cut it short.

I think the other weekend the guys pushed back the start time because of ice.

    Cheers

  • Ditto, I have had the same problem. I also had trouble with some of the blue washing out of the grippers on the shorts too and it looks like over time the blue on the body of the jersey has become dull as well.

  • Hi Allan,
I’ve just sent you a direct message, please can you reply, cheers

  • Hi Allan,
It’s yours, I can drop it at the shop tomorrow for you to collect if you like, unless you’re nearer Orpington?

I’ll message you re bank details.

    Cheers

  • I’ve recently treated myself to a new Garmin so I’m selling my 500. Along with the main unit I’ve a combined speed and cadence sensor (never used) two handbar mounts, a Garmin out-front mount (never used), USB cable and original manuals and disc. The unit itself is also fully loaded with the latest software updates…[Read more]

    Hi,
Is there anyone interested in getting a club skin suit anytime soon? I believe the minimum order number is three to start getting some reduction in price so I wondered if there are others in the market for kit right now? My thinking is sorting out something now will ensure we’ve the kit for next season.

I’d be interested in any of the…[Read more]

Out of interest is the blue on the main body of the jersey different to the blue used in the first run of kit? Reason I ask is I’ve just had some shorts returned from Endura after having faulty hems replaced and they look to be a richer, brighter blue, more inline with the old Giordana kit whereas on the jerseys I have from the first Endura order…[Read more]

My set up and opinion for what it’s worth…

Conti 4 season on the commuter and winter bike. Expensive but far superior to the Gatorskins (which I rode for ages), cornering is better and puncture resistance is superb. Hard wearing and last ages.

Conti GP4000S on the summer and race bikes. Quick and grippy but not stupidly fragile that you get…[Read more]

  • Thanks for the replies. I’ll check out those recommendations, alas I’m not over 50 and a couple of those quotes are similar to what I’ve managed to find but I’ll take a closer look, particularly at Fresh Insurance Group.

    Thanks

  • Hi,
I’m coming up for home insurance renewal and have been shopping around to see if I can get better cover for my bikes. Has anyone a recommendation which gives good cover and doesn’t increase the premium by around 10% of the value of the bikes please? I’d heard M&S was good but to cover about 7.5k of bikes adds about £750 to the annual…[Read more]
