Hello, what’s the reason these have moved to Wednesday’s? Personally I’m gutted as I’ll no longer be able to make it. Also for anyone doing Crystal Palace it makes for back to back evenings which can be tough. Maybe just something to consider for next year please.

As always, thanks to all the marshals this evening. I here one of them took some flak from a driver who had an issue with my riding. I’m really sorry to hear that, I’m not totally sure what it was about but sorry you got the brunt of someone’s frustrations.
I’m curious if you could shed some light on what I allegedly did?

You could also try the racing at Crystal Palace on a Tuesday night. I think they start around early May and run until August. A number of us L1 guys regularly race there and it’s always a good atmosphere. They are probably the most exciting (and difficult) crit races in the area. Sorry but it’s not clear – if you put your name down do you need to take your chance with the masses after the club ride or will a sheet be put aside at the shop? I’m probably going to be finishing my Sat ride early so could a sheet be put aside please?

It could be a sticky cable. I recently had this on my commute bike. The way I could tell was by pulling on the cable from the top tube it took up the play that I was experiencing at the lever. The inner basically wasn’t moving freely in the outer. Yours could be due to something else but it might be worth checking the cable or fitting a new cable…[Read more]
