Highly recommended. A few Bigfooters rode this last year. Be prepared for cobbles and some challenging hills.
Places limited to 300 apparently. Last year I don't think they had a clue how many were entering because you just turned up with a photocopied form. This year registration is on line.
We did have a clue how many turned up. We left a few paper forms at Brixton Cycles to help them gain some footfall after all they provide the prizes. We did not anticipate that folk would (A) rock up and take 6 forms or (B) photocopy an entry form and freely distribute them amongst their club mates. That won't be happening again this year.
We have to consider whats a safe level to set for the number of riders. Please help us to do this by sticking to whats fair and not abusing what might seem a very simple registration method. We are all volunteers, its a charity gig and nobody is insisting you make a donation to our charity, so play nice please.
I really enjoyed the ride last year and appreciate the efforts put into organising and running the event (and I made the suggested contribution). I was trying to point out to Bigfooters that they needed to register soon because, unlike last year, they couldn't just turn up. As a matter of interest, how many did turn up last year? Hopefully we will get a good Bigfoot turnout again!
We had 274 riders in the end. With a voluntary entry we run the risk more than most events of folk having one too many on saturday night and rolling over to knock out more zzzzs. We plan for 300.
Good to see the bigfoot riders again this year - you've been there since the start, we look forward to seeing you all on April the 1st.

Can we have the route published in time for me to load it on my garmin this year please

Hopefully - the only reason we couldn't last year was due to some internecine London urban sportive espionage problems...basically someone was going to copy the ride. You have to be mindful of this shennanigans unfortunately.
Rach & I will be riding up to Gypsy Hill Tavern in the morning, leaving Bromley Common at 7.25, meeting Asbo at 7.30 at top of Hayes Lane/Bromley Common, then meeting Lisa K & Angie by Beckenham Spa at 7.45
